About the Event
Sadeqa Johnson, author of The Yellow Wife, is coming to the Library to talk about her provocative work. Inspired by the real life of Mary Lumpkin, this story is one of unyielding sacrifice and fierce resistance as our heroine comes of age in antebellum Richmond.
She will be in conversation with Pastor Mary Farnham of the Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manasquan. Registration and masks are required.
